An introduction
About Us.

➪ The tips and advice I provide are based on my own experiences and are in no way founded on veterinary medical knowledge.

My name is Emilie Ulvsdotter, and I run the duck ranch. Some of you might recognize me as one half of the podcast Fjäderpodden.
Previously, I ran my hobby project, Djurhjälpen Värmland, which is currently inactive as I've realized that many ducks are in need of help and shelter. That's where my focus is now.

Mudmoor Duck Ranch covers approximately one hectare and we have a barn of 100 square meters at our disposal. There are six stalls measuring 3x3 meters each, as well as a smaller stall used for ducklings. I accept boarding animals and also offer rehoming whenever there is available space.
Additionally, I help capture abandoned domestic birds and rabbits.

Currently, I'm working within my local community with my therapy animals. We primarily visit nursing homes but have also visited schools, kindergartens, and assisted living residences (LSS) in neighboring municipalities.

I also collaborate with the wonderful Michelle Blocher from Blochers Djur & Natur, helping to rehome roosters and drakes. These birds are often very difficult to rehome, and sadly often face premature ends to their lives. Our dream, Michelle's and mine, is to raise their status and show people how incredibly fun and gentle these male birds are as individuals.

Feel free to visit Michelle's website in the Collaboration tab if you have any questions about hens and roosters!

Sincerely,
